CHAMPIONING MINDFULNESS IN SPORTS

MIND CHAMP is a leader in teaching the power of mindfulness in sports. Prioritizing mental wellness and emotional intelligence first naturally leads to overall improved sports performance. Mindfulness is a powerful practice for athletes, enhancing their mental health, concentration, emotional regulation, and overall performance. The demands of competition and training can be overwhelming, leading to heightened stress levels, but mindfulness techniques like deep breathing and meditation provide athletes with tools to remain calm under pressure. By training their minds to stay in the present moment, athletes can block out distractions and make split-second decisions with clarity.Each Mind Champ Clinic begins with a lesson of pre/post game mindfulness techniques to be used on and off ice. They then hit the ice for a 3v3 Round Robin style tournament. During this time, Riley will show players when these techniques are to be utilized with reminders during the games. This hands on approach works best with youth and keeps the lesson fun and engaging.
